Description

I'm fascinated by the Robotic Power Armor that saves humanity. There's only one image so far on what the pilot might look like inside the armor. I'm updating this sketch a bit to use Kevin Long's original design overlaid with a male anatomy silhouette. This is based on the armor being 10'5" tall and the man being 6 feet tall.

To me, it looks like, based on the size of the guy and how the armor is constructed, that for him to have his arms within the arms of the armor is kind of impossible as only the last half of his forearm and hand would be where the GB's bicep/upper arm is. It makes more sense for his arms to be tucked in beside him, using joysticks or thought to control the arms.

The legs make a little more sense with the pilots feet being just above the knee joint. Still, there'd need to be a lot of assistance with the lower legs to make that function properly. The power armor would take ques from the pilot moving their entire leg at the hip, rather than at the knee.

With the helmet, I think the new Iron Man movies and HUD technologies are coming into focus for us to imagine what the pilot will have at their disposal in terms of optics.

the issue is with the human size model, you can tell from the drawing design the feet go lower, just above the foot of the power armor ( why there is a forward portrusion in the lower leg)
